One item that some farmers overlook is the Seed Meter. We recommend servicing your meter every 3000 acres. Over time the singulation wheel and the scrapers can wear at their contact points, causing vacuum problems that will lead to missed drops and lower singulation rates. A worn meter can quickly result in a $10/acre loss in productivity.
